A Life That Makes A Difference

"How do you account for your remarkable accomplishment in life?" Queen Victoria of England asked Helen Keller. "How do you explain the fact that even though you were both blind and deaf, you were able to accomplish so much?"
Ms. Keller's answer is a tribute to her dedicated teacher. "If it had not been for Anne Sullivan, the name of Helen Keller would have remained unknown."
"Little Annie" Sullivan, as she was called when she was young. Little Annie was no stranger to hardship. She was almost sightless herself (due to a childhood fever) and was, at one time, diagnosed as hopelessly "insane" by her caregivers. She was locked in the basement of a mental institution outside of Boston. On occasion, Little Annie would violently attack anyone who came near. Most of the time she generally ignored everyone in her presence.
An elderly nurse believed there was hope, however, and she made it her mission to show love to the child. Every day she visited Little Annie. For the most part, the child did not acknowledge the nurse's presence, but she still continued to visit. The kindly woman left cookies for her and spoke words of love and encouragement. She believed Little Annie could recover, if only she were shown love.
Eventually, doctors noticed a change in the girl. Where they once witnessed anger and hostility, they now noted an emerging gentleness and love. They moved her upstairs where she continued to improve. Then the day finally came when this seemingly "hopeless" child was released.
Anne Sullivan grew into a young woman with a desire to help others as she, herself, was helped by the loving nurse. It was she who saw the great potential in Helen Keller. She loved her, disciplined her, played with her, pushed her, and worked with her until the flickering candle that was her life became a beacon of light to the world. Anne Sullivan worked wonders in Helen’s life, but it was a loving nurse who first believed in Little Annie and lovingly transformed an uncommunicative child into a compassionate teacher.
"If it had not been for Anne Sullivan, the name of Helen Keller would have remained unknown." But if it had not been for a kind and dedicated nurse, the name of Anne Sullivan would have remained unknown. And so it goes. Just how far back does the chain of redemption extend? And how for forward will it lead?
Those you have sought to reach, whether they be in your family or elsewhere, are part of a chain of love that can extend through the generations. Your influence on their lives, whether or not you see results, is immeasurable. Your legacy of dedicated kindness and caring can transform lost and hopeless lives for years to come.
You can never overestimate the power of your love. It is a fire that, once lit, may burn forever.

Self Control

"He who cannot obey himself will be commanded. That is the nature of living creatures" -
We need to be in control of our own lives! Habits are sometimes the best friends or worst enemies. Again habits are in our control. If we procrastinate then we are not in control of ourself. So Lives change the moment you decide to be under control.
If you do not respect your own commitments then you never can get others to take you seriously. I have seen many people who say 'let me give up this habit now!' and they live with that habit, and they will not be take so seriously. Also another important thing is that, if you are not control of your own life, then others will control you and you will tend to start blaming them.

This will make you a victim of your own life. Decide now! what you want to change and remember you are in Control of your outcomes of life!

Never Argue,Only Discuss

“Whenever you're in conflict with someone, there is one factor that can make the difference between damaging your relationship and deepening it. That factor is attitude.”

When you get into an argument what do you achieve? Almost nothingexcept for some negative emotions. Both you and the person on the other side do not feel so comfortable after an argument.

A Discussion is always very healthy where you begin to look at things from the other person's perspective. If only you had thatfeeling and attitude that yes I can look at what the other personis wanting to convey then your perception changes and you startto understand the person better.

If you resist to accept ideas, then there is a roughness betweenthe two and will end up spoiling the relatioship also.Whenevern you get into an argument look at what the person wants to convey to you and then continue where in you understand them better.

Look at Opportunities of Life

"The optimist sees opportunity in every danger; the pessimist sees danger in every opportunity"

In life it is about what we focus on. We always have 2 choices in life. One to look at all positives of Life or the negatives.

There are many events in life that cannot be avoided and we can feel bad that we are not in control of things around us. We can instead begin to focus on what is the positive outcome of the even that has already occurred.

Life turns out to be whatwe see out of it. It is a conscious decision that we make to look at the positives of life. We can always see some danger and obstacles, but as a winner we must have to look at what best we can achieve out of the most negative event.

Practice Makes Perfection

“I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times”

I can recall the quote because I remember, when I was a kid, my master used to tell every one the same. He used to say "Practice makes perfection". Don't need to have too many techniques but just a few and perfect it so that, it becomes your strength and the opponent will also be scared of that. He used to insist that it is true for life too. Practice your studies and do well in that too. In life it is of utmost importance to perfect the art we are into so that we become indispensable. We have competition and we can out beat them, only by perfecting the strategy that isadopted. Though Perfection is a very subjective term, what you think you can achieve is only by practice. Even today after so many thousandsof hours of training I practice before a training. That reminds meI have Born To Win coming up and let me gear up for that.
